Slope By the Levee
8” x 10” / oil on panel / framed
I painted this one after a road trip from California to Utah. The Central Valley of California is full of rolling hills and clusters of trees like this one. It might not be exactly an evening painting, but I liked the backlit quality of the trees and the warm light on the horizon, so I included it in this collection.
I am happy to be offering these paintings as part of a fundraiser, to raise money to donate to a student in need. I hope to be A Light in the Darkness for someone who is trying to make their lives and the world a better place by gaining an education. I believe that offering opportunities for education can have a great impact and bring light into the world. So, I am donating 20% of all sales from this collection to a student in need. In 2024 I was able to pay the full tuition for a young woman, a Haitian refugee, so she could earn her CNA. Let’s see if we can do even better this year!
