I’m including this one in this collection, even though it is not strictly a nocturne painting. It is perhaps a late afternoon painting, but I love how it plays with the waning light of day. The clouds are becoming illuminated by the setting sun. I never made this piece available on my website, so I’m happy to share it here now!

I am happy to be offering these paintings as part of a fundraiser, to raise money to donate to a student in need. I hope to be A Light in the Darkness for someone who is trying to make their lives and the world a better place by gaining an education. I believe that offering opportunities for education can have a great impact and bring light into the world. So, I am donating 20% of all sales from this collection to a student in need. In 2024 I was able to pay the full tuition for a young woman, a Haitian refugee, so she could earn her CNA. Let’s see if we can do even better this year!
